It's best not to leave things to the last minute, early holiday booking is recommended!
Year round holidaysWe are one of the holiday cottages in Glenelg that offers self catering accommodation all year round. The main holiday season starts in the Spring and April, especially Easter, is popular with May often being one of the best months for holiday weather in the Scottish Highlands, June brings the long days and shortest nights. July and August are usually the warmest (and busiest) months, September can again surprise with great weather and October has the beauty of the Autumn colours. November, December, January and February weekend breaks have their own attractions. The days are shorter during the winter but the sight of morning frosts and mists rising over Glenelg as dawn breaks, snow on the hill tops of Kintail and Skye, the deepest blue skies and flat calm seas interspersed with the odd raging gale has a fascination all of its own! As for Hogmanay - well just hang on to your hat!! Take a break in Glenelg and come and see for yourself!! Change-over day is generally Saturday but variable with short break holidays during the winter months. "Our 5th visit to the Lodge and it felt like coming home!" more reviews |
